Congrats to GOAT for winning the 2007 WifflePalooza Championship! They defeated Rounder's 13-12 in the "if necessary" game in 8 innings to bring home the crown. BJ Huff hit and pitched his team to the title. Our big debate was MVP. I wanted C0-MVPs but because of lack of prizes, we had to choose just one.
MVP - Justin Hayes (Rounder's)
Cy Young - Kris Glaser (JWar Juggernaut)
Gold Glove - Chad Gubler (WMD)
Thanks to all who beared the October heat and supported Hooters Softball and Chris Rice. We learned a lot of things and vow to make NEXT YEAR bigger and better! I am open to suggestions for improvements and rule changes.
Thanks to Jeff Hardin, Mike Kirchoff, Rich & Nikki Cullen, Chad & Lindsey Gubler, Robb Curtice and the rest of the Hooters of Evansville softball team for help in running this fantastic event. I think it was a huge success and look forward to many years to come!!

Welcome to the official blog for the Wifflepalooza Clasic, a double elimination wiffleball tournament hosted by Hooters of Evansville Softball. In addition to being a fund raiser for the team, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Chris Rice medical fund. Chris, whose son Greg plays for Hooters Softball, has been diagnosed with cancer and has been unable to work.
For many years the Good Mood Many held the world famous Wifflebash in Evansville. As they have decided to discontinue their involvement with the tourney, we thought we'd carry on the tradition.
The 1st annual Wifflepalooza will be held from Thursday, October 4th through Saturday, October 6th. Come on out and join the fun.
